The British government signs confirmation of a handover to the Government, regarding the return of illicit assets confiscated in the Ao Man Long case to the Government. The assets total over £28 million, which is equivalent to 350 million patacas. The Macao Judiciary announces the success in recalling most of the overseas illicit assets of Ao Man Long.

Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo Arrais do Rosario reveals that the Government will act according to the new Land Law to take back 26 plots of land at areas C and D in Praia Grande, and new idle land in Seac Pai Van industrial area, with a total area of 10,000 square metres.

The Government signs an agreement with Guangdong Provincial Government for construction of the fourth water supply pipeline and maintenance work for Ping Gang Pumping Station and Guang Chang Pumping Station, to further improve stability of the water supply.
